A gift box design with a tonne of intricate embossed foil detailing.
Washes of colour to produce a stunning foiled effect, a combination of sculpted embossing and a high build varnish, finished with a duplexed interior of a highly reflective green, made this an elaborate problem to solve.

Washes of colour to produce a stunning foiled effect, a combination of
sculpted embossing and a high build varnish, finished with a duplexed interior
of a highly reflective green, made this an elaborate problem to solve.
It was clear this design could only work using a Metpol substrate with a duplexed reflective interior, hot foil would have made the cost prohibitively high and cold foil would compromise the quality. The challenge was to get the right type of white contrast against the silver and the metallic green. Prior to the agency setting up the final artwork we created a set of scatterproofs to clarify what the ideal result should be. Once established the artwork was created and this highly complex project ran smoothly and efficiently.
